WELCOME TO OUR PARISH...

If you are new to our Parish please come and introduce yourself to one of our priests after Mass -
or come and say hello at the Parish Centre during the week.

Our parish is made up of people within many groups -  including Schools & Colleges, a Retirement Village, Youth Ministry, Boys Town and many more.  You can begin to explore these groups on this website - but this is only a 'door' to the real people.  While waiting to introduce yourself you might like to click on the side menu to see the faces of our Parish Team, view a Map of the Parish Buildings and read about the various Parish Groups that look forward to welcoming you.   The Contacts group will point you to web-links and also phone and email contact details.  Looking forward to meeting you.

22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time -

Dear Parishioners,
I have been away during the week - a little out of touch with on the ground activities.
Before I left Andrew O'Conner, Stacy Potts and Margaret Day accepted the call to be part of our Parish Pastoral Council for the next three years.  I sincerely thank them for taking on this call.    At the next meeting we will officially farewell and thank Sue Streeting, Deanne Bratton and Peter Stewart for their service within this ministry over the last 3 years.  On the Parish Website under parish groups, there are some guidelines that speak about what the aims of our PPC are and some of our working guidelines.  This group is such a crucial part of our parish and its future.
So many in our parish contribute in so many areas.  However it is often the structures we set up that help this to happen.  I thank all the people who take on roles within our structures and leadership - from PPC, to liturgy, to finance, to leadership and organising within groups.
Again I remind us that Sept. 11 is the parish groups expo - a chance for us to celebrate and proclaim what we as a parish are doing.   Let us make the most of this opportunity.
Blessings and may we live Jesus,
Fr Mick (Parish Priest)
