I invite the prayers within the parish to hold in your hearts the following intentions. The following are part of my prayers for the parish. I need your prayerful support if we are to build God's Kingdom among us. May we grow in being a praying parish. Blessings and thanks, Fr Mick
"As each of us opens our hearts to the possibility of union with God and all creation, a healing force of God's grace is released, bringing with it the experience and knowledge that truly we are all connected in God."
An Invitation to Pray James 5:13-16 New International Version (NIV)
The Prayer of Faith
Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective..
If you have a prayer request please send an email sharing what you wish to pray for and we will include it here. parishpriest@bosco.org.au
