Scouts and Cubs

The 3rd Engadine (Don Bosco) Scout Group have been part of the Don Bosco Community in Engadine since the 1970’s. The Scouting Group has been very active in the community with many boys and girls benefiting from the active program the Scout Association offers. The aim of Scouting is to encourage physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development for young people so that they take a constructive place in society as a member of their local and wider community. The 3rd Engadine (Don Bosco) Scout Group supports and promotes these aims.

At present the Group has approx. 40 children involved in both the Cub and Scout Sections. These members come from the Engadine Parish and general community and from Bundeena. They meet at the Scout Hall, down the driveway behind the Convent (see site map).

Cubs meet on Tuesday nights of the school term from 7-8.30pm.

Scouts meet on Friday nights from 7.30-9.30pm.

Cubs are for boys and girls 8-11yrs and Scouts are boys and girls 11-15years. Both groups have and active and fun programs for the kids. Contact any of the contacts below for more details.

At present the Cub Group needs new leaders to keep these fun and active programs operating.
