Week 5 - God's Spirit in me and the World

This week we deepen our exploration of the gifts of the Spirit and their presence in you and others, and the challenge to let God’s Spirit empower you with God's gifts.

1. Your Sponsor’s gifts.

Name your sponsor and list the gifts of the spirit that are present within him or her. For example: I admire ……………… (Write in my sponsor’s name) The gifts of the spirit that I see within him/her are …….. ..

2. Praying the gifts of the Spirit.

You have been praying regularly to God giving thanks for something each day, and asking for what you need. From now until you are confirmed, we ask you to give thanks for a gift of the spirit that you see in yourself, or that you experienced another do to you. This might be you standing up for truth, or being reverent, or another sharing wisdom with you. Also pray each night for a gift of the spirit that you need or want.
