First Reconciliation

Information Session (for parents)

Two Options  -  12th August at 4pm  or  7pm. 

This session is for parents.   (Children can be present but you need to keep them occupied with a book or game.)

Venue:  St John Bosco Parish Centre - 50 Waratah Road, Engadine

Enrolment Mass (Parents and Children)

Two Options - 24th August at either 9:30am or 5pm Mass  -   during these masses you will also book your date for first reconciliation.

As part of the Mass you will be invited to share with your child the following ritual.   click to see

Be sure to bring your HOPE for your child's confirmation written down on a piece of paper or card to give to them during the Mass.

Focus Mass (Parents and Children)

There will be a Focus Mass to help your child journey towards their First Reconciliation.

Sunday 7th of September at 9:30am or 5pm Mass.

State School Supplement

For children not attending a St John Bosco Primary, we are also providing four preparation sessions to cover what is normally done in the Catholic School Curriculum.

Practice 

For those who would like to prepare and become familiar with the process before the day, we are offering a practice session.

Sacrament of Reconciliation Ceremony

We will offer three sessions for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. (You will register for your preferred session at the  enrolment Masses on the 24th of August)

11th November 4pm

12th November 7pm

13th November 4pm

Celebration Masses

Children will be presented with their certificates at a special celebration Mass:

Sunday the 30th of November at either 9:30am or 5pm.

Your Contribution

We ask families to make a $50 contribution (per family/per year) towards the cost of our Sacramental program. You can do this via our online donations page.
