The BE NOT AFRAID Catholic Men’s Conference is a one day conference for men (18+) at St Mary's Cathedral Hall Sydney from 7.30am to 4.00pm.
This year's theme is the Thorn in the Flesh, Finding Strength in Weakness taken from 2 Corinthians 12:7.
Speakers include: Archbishop Julian Porteous; Fr Daniele Russo; Fr Duncan Wong FSSP; Tomasz Juszczak and Robert Falzon, both founders of Donum Ministries and Men Alive; Fr Ben Saliba as MC plus others joining us for the day!
The conference will include light breakfast, coffee/tea, talks by guest speakers, Mass, opportunity for confession, Q&A, lunch, fraternity and expo.
We're gathering as men to encounter Our Lord and increase in faith, hope and charity in brotherhood to be the man God created us to be.
The Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney (Archdiocese) is the organiser of the Event.
Tickets are $60 or $220 for a group of 4.

His Grace, Archbishop Anthony Fisher, has convoked a diocesan Synod for Sydney between the 30 April to 3 May 2026 to address the Holy Spirit-inspired longings communicated by the People of God in Sydney after many years of consultation, Archbishop’s convocation letter.
The Archbishop is seeking positive, practical and faithful ideas on how we can make our Church in Sydney more vibrant through three, repeated longings for more prayerful liturgies, more Christ-centred communities and to be more mission-oriented.
Please get involved by discussing these longings within your communities and then, by bringing your ideas on how these longings can be met to our regional consultations. Register to attend any of the three consultations:
